December 14, 2024 – Holiday Photography in St. Michaels

Join Kim Kelly and learn how to capture holiday photos and shoot with a purpose. Build a holiday themed image collection suitable for making holiday cards or just for adding a little magic to your season.

The quaint town of St. Michaels on Maryland’s Eastern Shore has celebrated the holiday spirit in style for the past 38 years, complete with a parade through the town, a gingerbread house competition and more. All provide rich photo opportunities.

Recommended Gear – A DSLR or mirrorless camera and lenses in the range of 24-200mm.

There will be an option to meet for lunch afterwards and talk shop. Also, if anyone is interested in some additional photography opportunities, Kim is willing to guide folks around the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum campus which features an incredible collection of restored wooden boats that have graced and worked the waters of the Chesapeake Bay. There is an entrance fee to the Museum not included in the price of this class. ($17-20).
